The origins of our company go back on this year. Company foundation by Wilhelm Gottlieb in the Hanseatic "Kontorhausviertel" in Hamburg. Manufacturer of the registered trademark "Wigo-Edel-Produkte”.
The demand for these premium products is constantly increasing. Relocation and expansion of the factory in 1929 to Grünerdeich, the industrial area of Hamburg. The company Wilhelm Gottlieb firmed to WIGO GmbH with CEO Josef Schürer.
Outside the urban area of Hamburg in Schleswig-Holstein - the company buys land and buildings in Trittau and respects it as their new headquarters. The new Headquarters is still today the home of delicious taste
